A little about me and my passion for Austin, Georgetown and Central Texas!

My wife, 4 Children and I moved to Georgetown Texas in 1996 and have been here since. Once a sleepy bedroom community/suburb of Austin, it has doubled in size to approx 50,000 in and around the City limits of town.

Home to Southwestern University, Sun City & Beautiful Historic Downtown Georgetown, many come to visit and end up staying, like we did. :) Voted #2 in the Country by CNN Money as they best place to start a new business, Georgetown has managed excellent controlled growth, not to inhibit business, but to ensure the quality of development coincides with our beautiful town.

With a multitude of shopping, dining, music and varied entertainment opportunities, and several Golf Courses, this is a destination. From the monthly Farmers Market to the Annual Fourth of July Celebration at San Gabriel Park, there's something for all to enjoy year round. A moderate climate, (as moderate as can be in any Central Texas town), ensures ample opportunity to enjoy the outdoor choices to enjoy.

Georgetown is midway between Ft. Hood/Killeen & downtown Austin, making this a destination for many of our military men and women serving in our armed forces.

Have I mentioned music? WOW! Access to the Live Music Capitol of the World offers so many choices and opportunities to enjoy, I'm not sure where to begin. 6th Street, Red River, 4th Street, and more with great music venues daily. SXSW anyone? ACL (Austin City Limits) Music Festival every fall - 3 days packed full of music.
